IKONO MIDDLE ZONE UNITES: …. As State House of Assembly Aspirant Consults delegates "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" - Matt. 5:16 Tuesday the 24th day of July 2018 will forever remain unforgettable in the political history of PDP in Ikono Middle. This day witnessed a great reunion as the entire statutory delegates in the zone met, exchange ideas, wine and dine together as brothers and sisters in the country home of Hon. Sampson Okorie, the Special Adviser to Ikono LGC on Special Duty. This was made possible by our kind-hearted State House of Assembly Aspirant, Engr. Sylvanus Nyauko; a peace lover and Grassroot Mobilizer, as he stopped by the zone to consult all statutory delegates ( Chapter Officers, Councilors, Ward Chairmen, Secretaries, Vice Chairmen, Women Leaders and Youth Leaders ) and others in the zone. R-APC: PDP SUMMONS ATIKU, MAKARFI, OTHERS The Nation reports - Governors, senators to discuss Imoke Panel’s report Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman  Uche Secondus has invited  presidential aspirants, governors, senators and other leaders to a meeting today in Abuja. The meeting is coming amid plans by leaders of the Reformed-All Progressives Congress(R-APC) to defect to the PDP. The presidential aspirants  invited are:  ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Governor Ahmed Makarfi; ex-Minister of Special Duties Tanimu Kabiru Turaki(SAN); ex-Governors Sule Lamido and Ibrahim Shekarau, as well as others. The session will discuss terms for accepting R-APC leaders, such as Senate President Bukola Saraki, House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara and others into the party.
