A group under the auspices of School of Art and Science Uyo old Students Association(SASOSA) has donated over 300 different science textbooks to different schools in Akwa ibom state. Udom unity cup final billed  for Sunday. The grand finale/the closing ceremony of the second edition of UDOM for 2019 unity cup is taking place this Sunday 4th November 2018 at the Uyo township  stadium by 3pm. Meanwhile, other events are billed to spice up the day like cultural displays, playboys and brass bands. The first action of  the day will see Etim Ekpo taking on Eastern Obolo on the  3rd place match by 12noon followed by a curtain  raisers between candidates of PDP vs ALGON to herald the final game by 3pm. MACAIRE’S SUCCESS HAS OPENED A NEW VISTA IN IKONO POLITICS – PDP Martins Inyangetoh, Ikono Chapter Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ikono Local Government Area, Barrister Moses Akpan, has said that the successful emergence of Obong Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo as the standard bearer for the Ikono/INI Federal House of Representatives on the platform of the party has opened a new vista in the political lexicon of the area.
