IKONO/INI REPRESENTATIVE FELICITATES IKONO CHAIR ON AWARD
The Member representing Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. (Obong) Emmanuel Ukpong-udo has felicitated the Executive Chairman of Ikono LGA, Mr. Itoro Columba on his recent award as "Most Media Friendly Local Government Chairman" in Akwa Ibom State.
The Honourable member posted a congratulatory message on his official Facebook and Instagram handles which read:
"I wish to congratulate my brother, my friend and my Local Government Chairman, Mr. Itoro Columba, on his well-deserved recognition as the Most Media-friendly Local Government Chairman in Akwa Ibom State. Your numerous achievements are overly conspicuous and greater heights await you. Continue to soar".
The award came following an online contest organised by Dakkada Ibom in which the Ikono Chairman, reputed for his superlative performance at the helm of affairs, came tops with 325 votes ahead of his counterparts from the other 30 Local Governments. The runner-up, Hon. Udemeobong Sylvanus from Nsit Ubium polled 315 votes.
Hon. Ukpong-udo and Mr Columba are known to enjoy a very cordial relationship, established over time which continues to yield dividends for the cradle of Ibibio civilization.
